Our Process


#1 Develop search specification(s)
CTSearch will develop a search specification based upon the position's responsibilities and requirements.
#2 Search for candidates
CTSearch will utilize our network to find qualified candidates that are willing to “consider” a new opportunity.  We say “consider” because many passive candidates are not actively looking for work but are open to a unique opportunity.
#3 Present candidates
CTSearch will present appropriate candidates to the hiring manager.
#4 Interview Candidates
After the hiring manager targets candidates for further consideration, CTSearch will conduct an in-depth interview to better understand the candidate's strengths, weaknesses, compensation expectations, work authorization requirements and motivations for making a change.
#5 Coordinate interviews
For candidates who pass the initial interview process, CTSearch will help to schedule a meeting with the hiring manager.
#6 Feedback and follow-up
After the interview between the candidate and the employer, CTSearch will ask for feedback from the hiring manager in order to establish possible next steps for the candidate.   At this stage, it is possible that the search specification may need further refinement.
#7 Reference checking
At the request of the hiring manager, CTSearch will conduct comprehensive reference checks.
#8 Negotiate and close offers
CTSearch will assist in the negotiation of a fair and competitive compensation package that will ultimately result in a successful hire.
